Michael Conlin is Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for the U.S. Public Sector at DXC Technology. Conlin is responsible for working with clients to deliver innovation by aligning technology and IT strategy to mission strategy through roadmaps and innovation agendas. Conlin is particularly well known for setting the pace on leveraging innovative breakthroughs across industry lines and national borders. Conlin is widely sought as a trusted advisor on the dynamics of adopting Office 365, Windows 10, Azure, and other strategic services from Microsoft.

Prior to this role, Conlin was Chief Technologist for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Defense and Department of Justice business at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. In addition, he served as the Account Chief Technologist for the Department of Homeland Security.

Prior to that, Conlin was Chief Technologist (CT) of HP Enterprise Services in Asia. He provided guidance to clients’ Chief Information Officers across a wide range of areas including infrastructure services, business process outsourcing, application solutions, delivery excellence and cloud implementation. In addition, he served as the Account Chief Technologist for NOL Shipping in Singapore, Cathay Pacific in Hong Kong and CIMB Bank in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

Prior to that, Conlin was CTO of Application Services for HP Enterprise (formerly EDS), where he led a team of 90 architects responsible for IT strategy and governance across client applications. Conlin also held the position of chief provocateur and was a member of the Office of the Chief Technologist leadership team for one of HP’s largest clients— Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

Conlin was previously president of Conlin and Associates, which provided consultancy on IT and business strategy. Conlin was also consulting principal for Digital 4Sight, an e- business strategy think-tank.

With more than 25 years of IT experience, Conlin has worked with a range of clients including DHS, DOD, DOJ, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, General Motors, Procter & Gamble, Unilever, SmithKline Beecham, IBM, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Arthur Andersen, Perot Systems, Accenture, Royal Bank of Canada, EDS, NZ Inland Revenue and UK Inland Revenue.

Conlin holds a B.S. in Psychology and an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh.
