Lawrence B. Prior III is President and Chief Executive Officer of CSRA, a leading next-gen IT professional services provider for the federal government. Larry has a deep passion for serving the federal government and is committed to helping them solve their most critical challenges using modern and forward-looking technology.
With more than 30 years of public and private sector experience, Larry uses his extensive background in the intelligence, security, technology and defense markets to cast the strategic vision and direction for CSRA.
Prior to his current role, Larry was appointed executive vice president and general manager of CSC’s North American Public Sector (NPS) in December 2014. NPS was a $4.1 billion business unit that provided IT, business operations and specialized engineering services for local, state and federal government clients across North America.
Larry also served as vice president and general manager of the Defense and Intelligence Group in CSC’s NPS, providing next-generation technology solutions and mission services to the U.S. Department of Defense and intelligence community.
Before joining CSC, he was Executive Vice President of Service Sectors and chief operating officer for BAE Systems, Inc.
Larry has held executive leadership positions at ManTech International, SAIC, LightPointe Communications, High Technology Solutions, the County of San Diego and TRW. Earlier in his career, he worked as a professional staff member on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and served as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Professional Services Council (PSC), the Vice Chair of the Board of the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), a member of the Executive Committee of AFCEA International, and a member of the Board of Directors for the National Intelligence University Foundation.
Larry has a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Loyola Marymount University and a master’s degree in Security Studies from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. In his free time, Larry enjoys running and walking his beloved dog, Olive.
